We are looking for an enthusiastic bilingual (Spanish/English) team player to join us in making a difference in the communities and the lives of children we serve.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • The Linkages to Learning Therapist will work to identify issues and conditions and assess each case while selecting a course of action from many alternatives.
  • The therapist work has an effect on the well-being of clients and their families, and the accomplishment of program objectives impacts the general safety and productivity of the community.
  • The staff assesses the needs of the community, develop appropriate programming in response to those needs and identify, access, and coordinate the necessary resources, services and volunteers to implement these programs.
Educational Background: 
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy or counseling.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Experience working with youth and parents in a multicultural community, with diverse populations, collaborating with multiple agencies, and working with the school system.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must be a licensed at graduate level in Maryland for LGSW, LCSW-C, LCPC, LGPC, LCMFT, LGMFT, Licensed Psychologist. The Mental Health Therapist must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and personal values consistent with the YMCA mission.
