In the position of Vice President, Program Quality and Impact (PQI) located in our Washington, DC office, you will provide overall leadership and strategic direction for World Vision US’ PQI business unit to ensure strong program management, technical branding and evidence of impact across revenue streams (private, public, and foundations). You will ensure leverage across programs funded by private, foundations and public resources to ensure the highest quality implementation, reduce risk for the organization, as well as, quality and timely implementation at the field level. As a leader, you will join all World Vision US employees to help carry out our Christian organization's mission, vision, strategies and personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

Leadership:
- Provide leadership to a large, diverse, and geographically disbursed program management team organized by sector. Ensure the highest quality of DME, Research and Learning, Gender/Social Inclusion, and Technical Branding work to guarantee high quality programming across public and private grants.
- Ensure the development and effective implementation of the World Vision US (WVUS) grants management strategy in alignment with World Vision’s Global Grant Acquisition and Management (GAM) strategy.
- Provide oversight to programs and projects funded by the US Government, private donors as well as foundations and public/private partnerships, ensuring that goals are achieved and expenses are managed.
- Oversee technical staff in the areas of Technical Branding, DME, Gender/Social Inclusion and Research, Learning and Analytics to ensure the highest quality across funding streams.
- Manage team of director reports, including all performance management processes.
- Direct, manage, and develop strategic goals and objectives for staff to ensure appropriate, organizationally effective, and timely accomplishment of mission.
- Serve as a member of the International Programs Group Leadership Team.
Collaboration:
- Ensure successful collaboration with both internal and external partners and donors to ensure World Vision’s brand is strong and partners and collaborators support WV’s mission for life in all its fullness for every child.
- Engage public and private donors as assigned to establish collaborative relationships and ensure that WV provides the highest quality of deliverables to them.
- Ensure strong linkages back to Resource Development Team to ensure lessons learned are being shared and utilized for new program design processes.
- Represent WVUS and World Vision at various high-level conferences, fora, etc.
- Partner with other entities of International Programs Group (IPG), WVUS and the WV Global Partnership as necessary. Build a strong, collaborative spirit within the team.
- Work closely with WVI’s Evidence and Learning team to ensure strategic alignment and collaboration.
- Respond on behalf of IPG to various high-level initiatives.
Relationships/Networks:
- Support other WV entities as required to ensure high quality program management.
- Ensure strong relationships between Federal Way and DC based employees.
- Build relationships with key donors as required to support the management of programs and ensure high quality deliverables.
Systems/Reporting:
- Ensure outcomes of grant-funded programs a high-quality and high-impact through ongoing monitoring and the execution of mid-term and final evaluations, operations research, etc.
- Review reports and finding/recommendations to determine best practices and apply lessons learned.
- Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.
- In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 10-12 years of international programs work experience in various geographic areas or extensive work experience in one area, preferably in programs management and ensuring technical quality.
