We are looking for a Program Coordinator to provide support to the Sub-Task Order (TO) between Chemonics and PSI/Mali. The Program Coordinator will serve as liaison between Chemonics and PSI/Mali and ensure quality control of all deliverables. All questions related to the programmatic and financial aspect of this project will be routed through the Program Coordinator who will then coordinate with PSI/Mali. This position will be based in Washington, DC and requires approximately 5% overseas travel to Mali.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Ensure full compliance of financial and administrative components of the project.
- Support the production of timely and quality financial reports and invoices for client approval, ensuring, in collaboration with the program manager, that there is a documented correlation between all expenditures and programmatic reporting.
- Coordinate and review the client invoicing process in close coordination with PSI/Mali and DC Finance Department ensuring all invoices/ support documentations are submitted on time and are of high quality.
- Monitor account receivable to ensure that payments are being made.
- Monitor project expenditures to ensure that costs are substantiated and allowable.
- Track line item spending burn rates in order to prepare limitation of funds notifications and projections.
- Review budgets for contract realignments and modifications.
- Ensure branding and marking requirements are properly administered throughout project implementation.
- Prepare all requests for Chemonics’s (salary increase, travel, etc.)
- Ensure translation of all deliverables prior to submission to Chemonics
- Ensure timely submission of all deliverables (financial and programmatic)
- Ensure completion and submission of all biodatas, pay scale, and/or salary approval as required by the TO
- Develop the LOE monthly billing reports.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed as well as other tasks.
Educational Background:
BA in Finance, international development or relevant field.
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of professional work experience, financial background strongly preferred for this role.
- Proficiency in French.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Pay attention to details and focus on quality and consistency.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
- Excellent writing skills in both English and French; can communicate complex financial activities and present to a large and diverse audience of varying financial knowledge
