PSI seeks an experienced Project Director to plan and coordinate all activities for a multi-country, multimillion dollar global Reproductive Health project beginning in late 2017*. The project will focus on increasing access to and changing social norms around family planning (FP) and sexual and reproductive health and rights and services, improving the policy and financing environment for FP and SRHR and reducing death and injury from unsafe abortion. The project will have a heavy emphasis on improving uptake of reproductive health products and services, particularly among youth, low-income and other underserved populations.
The position will report to PSI’s Director of Sexual and Reproductive Health. The Project Director will have multiple direct reports and will coordinate with regional staff and country-level teams located primarily in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.
The location for this position is currently planned as Washington, D.C; however, other appropriate locations may be considered for highly qualified candidates with visa considerations.
