PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This global role is a key advisor, coach and influencer working with senior leaders across the World Vision Partnership to shape and implement World Vision’s response to the challenge of sustained organizational wellbeing and performance.

This role is responsible for developing and leading delivery of strategic organization development outcomes that increase organization effectiveness and agility and enable the development of a culture which facilitates high performance.

As part of the Global Centre People & Organization Development team, the role provides global consultancy, training and coaching support to leaders and key practitioners to ensure effective organizational design, development and change management solutions and processes.

This role is also responsible for the strengthening of Organizational Development & Culture (OD&C) capability across World Vision through coaching, professional development and networking of key practitioners and leaders engaged in OD&C activities and leading the creation and sharing of knowledge, best practices and relevant products and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advisory and Consultancy Support:

  • Provide expert organization development and change leadership support for high priority global initiatives and projects. These will include those directly related to Our Promise 2030 realization –as well as support of wider ongoing organizational development and change needs.

OD&C Capability Strengthening:

  • Provide leadership for the design and delivery of global learning and development approaches and products which enable and support leaders and practitioners to develop OD&C competencies.

Team Effectiveness:

  • Actively contribute to the development and high-performance of the People & Organization Development team, and the wider global P&C community.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Master or Bachelor Degree in one or more of the following; Education/Professional Education and Training; HR/Human Resource Development; Organizational Development or Organisational Psychology.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong ability to translate strategic organization development imperatives into tangible and relevant outcomes.

Work Environment:

  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30 % of the time.
