Success Specialist, Team In Training

An enthusiastic professional with proven fundraising, sales and/or development skills. Works as a member of the Virtual Cultivation Staff for Team In Training staff, assisting, as assigned, with hundreds of individuals across a wide geographical region to cultivate and support their individual fundraising goals. Communication will be primarily email, social media and phone based requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Follow and advise on the cultivation plans used to meet specific Objectives; including retention and average funds raised.
  • Partner with Success Specialists, Virtual Campaign Managers and Campaign Managers assigned to your territory to build appropriate communication plans that deliver assigned goals.
  • Able to manage and deliver on expectations with the ability to manage hundreds of teammates across large geographical territories.
  • Monitor teammate progress at specified timeline benchmarks to ensure commitment, retention and fundraising goal achievement as well as helping to identify potential high fundraisers
  • Provide excellent TNT experience for teammates over phone, email and social media platforms. Providing them with the resources and tools that they need to be successful
  • Works with regions and chapters as both collaborator and advisor in developing greater Team In Training participation in the program.
  • Identify higher achieving volunteers to build better overall results for the assigned Area by focusing on more individualized cultivation and development.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the LLS mission and its programs to address them
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Strong word processing, database management, and computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
  • 2-4 or more years fund raising and communications, sales, or marketing experience

  • Strong people skills with a focus on internal customer service and teamwork.
  • Excellent time management, emphasizing service excellence and adherence to prescribed processes while also working to improved establish processes.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Confidence in public speaking and the ability to present effectively on conference calls and webinars.
  • Capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Highly organized and professional demeanor.
  • Resourcefulness, promotions savvy and problem solving acumen
  • Be a self-starter, problem-solver and manage assignments independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively within a highly productive and diverse team setting. Must be persistent, organized, and possess the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Demonstrated volunteer development capabilities.
