Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a skilled professional Change Communications Manager - GI25, to join our Global International Operations team.

Global Impact 2025 is a global change initiative aimed at aligning Habitat International and its international network with the ambition of our strategic plan. GI25 intends to transform Habitat into a more effective global organization, tripling its impact in low-income contexts, tripling affiliate scale in large middle income contexts and tripling the resources mobilized from the world's wealthiest economies outside of North America.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of International Operations, the Manager - Change Communications will be responsible for driving day to day internal and network facing communications for the Global Impact 2025 Initiative. Responsibilities will include overall implementation of the initiative communications strategy, coordination with Habitat International's Communications teams in Atlanta and its regional offices around the world, coordination and content generation for network-facing communications, content generation and support for communications requirements of initiative project teams. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Maintain and execute the change communications strategy for the overall initiative including: Habitat International's staff; Habitat's global federated network, and additional targeted stakeholder groups
  • Coordinate all content contributors within initiative project teams, initiative management and advisory panel, including refinement of content in line with the overall initiative narrative
  • Liaise with Habitat International's communications department on all messaging, art, formatting and brand compliance requirements
  • Maintenance and design of the online communications channels including quarterly e-mail updates, the initiative dashboard, online resources, and the initiative websites (internal (InSite) and network facing (My.Habitat))
  • Monitor, consolidate and advise Initiative Management on feedback from key stakeholder groups including online channels, network and staff surveys, and one-on-one interviews where required
  • Support network "enrollment" efforts including content generation, design and logistical coordination of meetings, presentations and workshops (inclusive of both national organizations and US based affiliates)
  • Design, maintenance and governance of document production for consistent look, feel and tone in line with brand policy and guidance from Habitat International's communications department
  • Advises on the overall communications strategy for the GI25 initiative
  • Works across all functional departments in HQ and all Area Offices with a heavy emphasis on the Communications team; works with National Organizations and Branches; limited support for communications to US Affiliates and US council; limited support for International Board of Directors (IBOD) reporting
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Educational Background: 
Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Highly organized with experience coordinating the work of several groups within an organization
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in remote teams and with little supervision
  • Comfort with ambiguity and working through change
  • Ability to cope with tight deadlines as and when they emerge
  • Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in cross-cultural settings

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a country outside of their home country (working or education)
  • Project Management experience, training or certification
  • SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Stream experience

Beneficial but not required:

  • Fluency in Spanish
