Associate Director, Development YM

The Youth Market (YM) Associate Director, is responsible for working with the SVP of YM and the consultant team to help drive new revenue, cover inside sales for schools and administrative tasks for the SouthWest affiliate.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • 25% of your time will be spent covering the administrative duties for YM. These include:
  • Youth Market Coordinators Onboarding & Mileage Reporting
  • E1 Expense Reports: SVP and the VP’s of YM
  • Event Planning & Execution: Annual Youth Market Conference
  • Budget Reporting
  • BSN Invoice Payments
  • 25% of your time will be spent working with the inside sales for schools and helping to drive new dollars for the affiliate. Various duties around this include phone work with the schools, creating social media posts, individualized messaging and assisting with technology in those schools.
  • 50% of your time will be spent cultivating relationships with survivors and top students across the affiliate. This will include personalized messaging using various social media platforms, creating YouTube videos and technology to drive further participation.
  • Creativity and collaboration are key for this position since you will be asked to think outside of the box for new ideas and be required to work with the entire affiliate to help us achieve our overall goals.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting/budgeting (for expense reports & budgeting & events.
  • Ability to draft & distribute accurate & professional business correspondence.
