Associate Director- Affiliate Services and SSO Support

Habitat for Humanity International(HFHI) is seeking a talented professional for our Associate Director- Affiliate Services and SSO Support position. The SSO manager will manage the relationship between HFHI and the Stat Support Organizations (SSOs) and manage the U.S. field staff. This position will coordinate communications, training and compliance related functions for SSOs to foster a strong relationship between HFHI and the SSOs. In managing U.S. field staff, this position will support budget and reporting functions and supervise staff.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Manage and facilitate SSO relationships and collaboration between HFHI and SSOs, and the SSO community.
    • Foster collaboration and program sharing among SSO community and HFHI. Facilitate cross mentoring and communication.
    • Manage all SSO related content on My.Habitat to ensure information is current.
    • Manage validation process and adherence to QA Checklist for SSOs.
    • Set agenda, facilitate monthly conference calls
    • Monitor, analyze, compile, and distribute monthly and annual reports.
  •  Work collaboratively with GRA to advance efforts of SSOs as they engage in public policy, awareness raising and advocacy activities. Manage collection of SSO advocacy metrics.
  • Coordinate with GLOD to assist SSOs with state conference training and facilitation; update all event on the US training calendar and on My.Habitat.
    • Provide training/serve as speaker at SSO and other conferences.
  • U.S. Affiliate Services
  • Supervise Thrivent and Capacity Build Consultants in collaboration with cross functional supervisors.
  • Serve as staff liaison for the Finance and Resource Development committee of the US Council.
  • Assist Sr. Director of Affiliate Services in budget preparation and monitoring, and in preparation/coordination of metrics reports.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • Strong people skills with the ability to build positive working relationships and motivate others to perform at their best.
  • Demonstrated success managing geographically dispersed consultative functions in a multi-state environment.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, setting and managing set objectives
  • Demonstrated background in knowledge sharing with other similarly situated management team members and with other HFHI functions.
  • Accurately and concisely track, document and communicate results to various stakeholders.
