The Substitute Tutor works directly with children and must maintain the highest degree of safety and protection for them. He/She will need to work with Save the Children staff as well as with non-Save the Children staff of the school to ensure good cooperation and collaboration, maintain an amiable relationship, assist the Site Coordinator in effectively implementing the literacy and math program components, implement CATCH physical activity curriculum lessons and provide the children participating in the program effective guidance, control and learning. The Substitute Tutor is a "representative" of Save the Children at the school site of program implementation and, therefore, is expected to maintain high professional standards and excellent conduct of self and program.
