The role of the Program Coordinator is to ensure the smooth delivery of the Save the Children’s Psychosocial Support and Protection programming in Morongo, California. This position will report to the Program Specialist. The Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the protection and psychosocial support program, including coordinating meetings/communications among project team members, training day activities, and fidelity checks with STC staff; ordering materials for program implementation; facilitating the development and implementation of a needs assessment and facilitating and implementing project evaluation and tracking measures.
Program Implementation (40%)
- Assist with building and maintaining relationships with schools, and partners.
- Participate in related meeting and conference calls to support program activities.
- Coordinate protection and psychosocial support trainings, and Parent Cafes.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the program, as required, to ensure the smooth running of the program, to include such things as travel and hotel arrangements, ordering of office supplies and equipment, and arranging events as needed.
Monitoring and Evaluation (40%)
- Input beneficiary information into beneficiary tracking system.
- Help coordinate periodic reporting.
- Work with the project team to assist in the development and implementation of the program evaluation plan.
- Compile and input Program Pre- and Post-surveys.
- Track and report Program expenses
- Conduct site visits and monthly program fidelity checks.
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management
Procurement Support (20%)
- Order, assemble, and distribute additional Program Kit materials to partners, as needed.
- Order replenishment supplies for Program Kits.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to facilitator requirements
- Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed material orders etc.
- Two to three years of relevant experience in process management, and/or customer support preferred.
- Must possess strong communication skills.
- Must have a familiarity with reports, business correspondence and meeting organization.
- Must have intermediate desktop computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
