Working within our player and youth development team, the golf instructor position is a full-time position dedicated to providing affordable golf instruction to junior golfers in under-reached areas. The golf instructor is an expert in youth development, teaching golf to juniors and is a leader in the junior golf field. The golf instructor serves as a lead coach while conducting classes and works closely with our program manager to develop, improve and expand the program in San Fernando Valley communities. Primary job duties include: implementing our golf and youth development curriculum adapted from the Titleist Performance Institute, being a positive role model, day-to-day program administration, developing the next generation of golfers through teaching and mentorship at our growing San Fernando Valley communities, as well as developing additional opportunities for instruction participants outside of class.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred.
- 2-3 years golf experience required.
- Experience working in youth development, junior golf instruction and curriculum development.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; must be detailed oriented and wellorganized.
- Ability to integrate diverse viewpoints, ideas and opinions working with staff and industry stakeholders.
- Must be willing to learn, be a good team member and bring a creative energy to the position.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
The Golf Instructor position is a full-time, exempt position. The work schedule will be Monday-Thursday and Saturday. Pay is determined on experience and job qualifications.
