The goal of the Philanthropic Partnerships team (PPT) is to provide services and connections that support more informed and intentional giving by all. A signature program of the PPT is the Giving Pledge (www.givingpledge.org), which is a public commitment by the world’s wealthiest individuals and couples to give the majority of their wealth to charitable causes. More than 180 individuals/families have taken the Giving Pledge from 22 countries. There are a number of events and resources provided throughout the year for Giving Pledge members to build relationships and exchange ideas about philanthropy.

The Project Coordinator will facilitate and coordinate a range of activities and projects in support of the Giving Pledge on the Philanthropic Partnerships team (PPT). 

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Project Coordinator will provide integral support to relationship management for the Giving Pledge in “back of house” capacity by working closely with team members across 4 primary functions:

  • Data Management and Online Community –The PC will maintain our CRM tool as well as exporting and analyzing aggregate data/information.
  • Research and Correspondence - Research and organize information about current members; draft correspondence; develop meeting agendas and briefs.
  • Learning Engagement Logistical Support – The PC will play a key role in executing logistics for learning opportunities, including: managing event registration website and event collateral.
  • Special/Cross-cutting Projects for Relationship Management –Support weekly relationship management team meetings with agenda and follow up tracking, respond to cross-foundation requests involving our members, and available to support ad hoc projects as needed.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s or other advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in a role where high-volume data entry and data quality validation was paramount to success.
  • Success learning and navigating a variety of IT systems and data management and reporting tools. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills and ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing event registration and logistics or similar projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in using judgment and discretion.
  • Experience with research and ability to synthesize information from multiple data sources.
  • Works effectively and comfortably within and across teams.
  • Basic project management skills.
