Are you an IT professional who understands service delivery? Do you seek out data to drive decisions towards continuously improving services? Do you understand concepts such as Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud platforms to name a few? If so, this role looks to use your experience in leading the definition, delivery and continuous improvement of infrastructure services at the Gates Foundation.

As an Interim Business Systems Analyst, the goal is to define services, deliver regularly scheduled service reviews, continuously improve where gaps are identified and use the data to drive our roadmap and strategies. The nice to haves would be to make the data real time and reports automated.

Skills/Experience: 
  • Experience in understanding modern delivery of services and how to report on them.
  • Experience in defining Services within an IT organization.
  • Experience in delivering service reviews directly to IT Leadership and the CIO.
  • Experience in influencing roadmap and strategies to existing and new technologies at the Gates Foundation.
  • Experience in having worked for the world’s largest philanthropic organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Define scope and bucket each service offering in the right service definition.
  • Create and maintain documentation that supports these service definitions.
  • Analyze each service to ensure the right metric and or data is captured for reporting/decision making.
  • Maintain reporting and schedule regular service reviews with IT Leadership.

Core Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert knowledge in business analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Proficient in understanding DevOps, IT operations, agile/scrum delivery methodology and cloud platforms.
  • Proficient knowledge with visualization tools, i.e., PowerPoint.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of IT/Business analysis experience.
