The Consultant for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Team Effectiveness is a member of the People and Organization Potential Team in Human Resources.

The Consultant blends their expertise in DEI, team and leadership effectiveness to help create an environment in which our employees can do their best work and ultimately drive effective outcomes defined by our strategies. The Consultant models the foundation’s four agreements: Show Respect, Offer Trust, Be Transparent, and Create Energy as well as our Leadership Principles of Nurture People and Build Great Teams, Model Courageous Inquiry & Intellectual Integrity, and Prioritize Collective Success.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Lead and co-lead team effectiveness engagements including diagnosis, design, intervention, and evaluation with a focus on DEI
  • Coach senior leaders and leadership teams
  • Provide DEI, Leadership, and Organization Effectiveness consulting to foundation leaders, teams, and HR Business Partners.
  • Mentor colleagues within the HR team on specific areas of DEI growth and development, within a global workforce
  • Manage projects of significant size and complexity
  • Design and facilitate learning events/ solutions
  • Lead regional engagement strategies
  • Manage vendor relationships
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree with 11+ years of experience, or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • Previous experience leading DEI team engagements with senior leaders and teams, including human resource business partners
  • Superior group facilitation and team intervention skills, with superior skills at leading potentially challenging conversations with respect, candor, and diplomacy
  • Experienced consultant and program manager
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • A demonstrated systems-thinker who can effectively see horizontally across an organization to broadly understand decision implications
  • Work independently with minimal guidance
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effectively collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Ability to create documents and presentations using software tools such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Curriculum design, or prior learning and development design experience preferred
  • Prior experience leading significant human resource initiatives in a globally-focused organization is required
