This Senior Program Coordinator/Program Coordinator (SPC/PC) position sits within the Strategy and Innovation team on Vaccine Delivery and will support the Strategy & Innovation and the Alliance Engagement / Nigeria teams. The SPC/PC is responsible for investment and portfolio management, financial analysis and reporting, project management, programmatic analytical support, grantee and business partner relationships, and supporting sub-team health and culture. The SPC/PC plays a key role in developing sub-team and Vaccine Delivery wide processes and leading change management and roll-out efforts regarding internal processes. This role is responsible for high quality interactions and clear and consistent communications internally across multiple teams within the foundation and externally with grantees and partners.
- Investment Management: Work with Program Officers, Grantees, and Business Partners to shepherd the development, management, evaluation, review, and close out of grants and contracts. Serve as expert advisor to Program Officers (POs) and business team on processes and unique investment issues. Engage in significant project management work, requiring deep expertise on topics such as complex RFPs, reprogramming large and/or complex grants, expertise in clinical trial grants, budget frameworks, and measurement and evaluation. Serve as liaison across multiple internal teams.
- Financial and Portfolio Management: Provide budget oversight and planning, financial analysis, financial reporting, and portfolio and operations process management and analysis at the individual investment, PO, and functional team level to support initiative level portfolio management that ties to the broader team portfolio management. Manage data for all investments in multiple databases to ensure data integrity to support team's financial and strategic decision making.
- External Engagement: Act as liaison and key point of contact for external grantees, vendors, and stakeholders. Provide hands on guidance and support for grantees and vendors with budget templates, required documents, and proposal development processes as well as in a broader project management capacity as needed in partnership with Program Officers.
- Operational & Analytic Support: Support the Deputy Director in executing on investment making, prioritization, tracking progress against strategy, team culture, research, analytics, and other areas as needed. Align with the DD’s Program Assistant to create seamless operational and administrative support.
- Project Management: Work on critical projects - programmatic, operational, organizational -- cutting across the team or across the foundation. Identify areas for process improvement, generate recommendations, and implement solutions. Contribute to the ongoing health and culture of the team.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5-8 years of experience.
