This position has the responsibility for managing a warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations; Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization. Supervise warehouse staff. Work requires the ability to work independently. The ability to use professional judgment.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Manages the day to day operations of warehouse staff; Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements; Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies; schedule and maintain work schedule, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc) and other data metrics as appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring all records are maintained and procurements are documented from origination through delivery using the WASP Inventory System and NetSuite Financial System.
Skills/Experience:
- 5-7 years experience

- Ability to constantly manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to change with a dynamic environment and manage stress of the change.
- Extensive Knowledge of purchasing, vendor relations and contracts.
- Knowledge of application of Internal Control functions.
