The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a highly motivated professional to lead community engagement at the Patrick Henry FamilyY.
The Director will work closely with the Executive Director to build relationships and programs in the community. Specific responsibilities include leading programming/support to the Sedgefield Community, Patrick Henry HS, Elmont, Liberty, Henry Clay and Gandy schools as well as serve on at least one school task force. This position will be the branch volunteer champion; and coordinate branch outreach programs, including Bright Beginnings. The Director will also support the Executive Director with board meetings, stewardship and the annual campaign.

- Must have two years of experience in community engagement
- Strong programming and previous supervisory experience are highly desirable
- Candidates must possess strong organizational abilities and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities and interpersonal skills are required
- Strong computer skills are required, with previous budgeting experience desired
- In order to best serve the needs of Y members, applicants must be able to work a varied schedule with some evening and weekend work
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred
Salary: $36,000.00
