The Project Manager for Networking2Save (N2S) is responsible for planning and executing all activities related to the N2S award. This federal award particularly outlines several areas of required activity, namely:

Coordinating a network focused on LGBTQ+ tobacco & cancer control

Providing technical assistance and training to stakeholders in such a network, especially CDC grantees on this topic (typically state departments of health).

Elevating clinical progress on LGBTQ+ tobacco and cancer equity as well as existing state goals on this subject.

Advising on media related to this issue.

Managing a project evaluation.

Delegating project deliverables, ensuring that staff time and capacity are matched to the project.
All Network staff have some time devoted to N2S; the Project Manager is responsible for matching staff effort with award outcomes to ensure successful project performance. A predominant activity on this project is technical assistance and training, as such this position will devote a considerable amount of time to this activity. This position reports to the Projects Director.
REQUIREMENTS:

Project management experience;

Strong interpersonal, writing, and computer skills;

Strong communication skills;

Experience and interest in working with a variety of disparity populations in the LGBTQ+ arena;

Ability to work both independently and as a member of a growing team, manage details and meet established deadlines;

Experience in the tobacco or cancer arena;

Experience creating funder reports and proposals;

Experience managing a project budget;

Experience working across diverse group of stakeholders;

Salary: commensurate with experience, range $68,000 – $72,000 annually.
