Responsible for exceeding revenue goals in assigned markets by providing strategic direction to Region Vice Presidents (RVPs), Executive Directors (EDs), Volunteer Leaders and Team In Training (TNT) Staff as applicable. The Director will provide consultation; contribute to performance management of staff; and develop short and long range plans, key drivers and best practices for the field. As part of the National TNT Product Team they will assist with development of tools, materials and content and may assist in hiring for key TNT field positions. This team is responsible for creating a culture of excellence and achieving LLS’s overall revenue goal for TNT and the National Campaign Goal.
- Develop the comprehensive strategic plan for the assigned TNT campaign markets which includes organizational best practices, specific revenue targets and expense budget, timeline, volunteer activities and recruitment, marketing, logistics and sponsorship plan
- Enable strong communication between the field, virtual campaign staff and campaign support
- Responsible for ensuring KPIs are met in the field
- Participate in key volunteer field meetings to drive best practice outcomes
- Model and coach organizational best practices with regard to recruiting and managing high level volunteers, revenue generation activities, expense and fiscal controls and recruitment resulting in achievement of revenue goals
- Develop positive volunteer interactions through engagement and mentoring, and provide comprehensive support for volunteer leadership and participants to develop and achieve personal fundraising plans, while focusing on the mission of LLS
- Responsible for supervising and training campaign staff in achieving fundraising goals
- Identify target audiences and build appropriate recruitment and fundraising strategies to successfully recruit, acknowledge, retain and upgrade participants
- Conduct ongoing strategic consultation with RVPs, EDs and TNT staff in regards to campaign strategy, staff and volunteer performance and talent hiring and evaluation
- Produce forecasting and projections reports by evaluating the effectiveness of the on-going fundraising initiatives in assigned markets
- Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS's mission and programs to promote fundraising, research, and patient initiatives
- Travel to select TNT portfolio events to be a leader in volunteer cultivation and staff efforts
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- 6 - 8 years fundraising, sales, marketing, communications, event planning experience
- Previous experience as an LLS Campaign Manager a plus (TNT, LTN, MYOW, SOY or SS)
