Executes implementation activities for programs to priority accounts and communities of focus within ACS PR (e.g. quality of life (QoL), prevention/detection programs). Accountable for mission targets through relationship management and engagement of locally based accounts and other community-based assets. Strong collaboration with Community Executive Director to maximize event success. Ensures goal achievement through the engagement and mobilization of volunteers.
- Executes on set enterprise mission strategies to achieve quality of life and prevention/detection goals and objectives.
- Assists with the delivery of staff and volunteer-based patient service programs including Reach to Recovery, Look Good Feel Better, I Can Cope, and lodging.
- Works to ensure integration of ACS PR staff to increase the Society’s community presence and mission impact.
- Delivers solutions for prevention and detection programs across individual systems, accounts & collaborators along with monitoring their status and results for continuous improvement to our constituents.
- Assists with monitoring return on investment for programs in communities within a geographical location, responds to mission impact results, and searches for innovative solutions to constituent needs for QoL, prevention/detection, and other enterprise goals related to our program of work.
- Identifies improvements that enable ACS PR to accomplish our program of work, and operate those programs more efficiently and effectively while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Delivers on strategy for local collaborations, relationships, and partnerships for patient service programs.
- Assist walk-in patients with mission needs.
- Ensures engagement and mobilization of volunteers in a prioritized and coordinated way.
- Track progress of data entry and generate a monthly report to the VP for Cancer Control & Pt Services.
- Monitors progress against objectives; adjusts plans and manages contingency efforts and resources as required.
- Collaborates with Community Manager and event lead to maximize events success.
- Closely monitors volunteers to assure they have all support to manage committees, especially in areas related to survivors, programs and services.
- Development of community volunteer leadership skills and facilitates volunteer retention.
- Collaborate to meet MSABC Unit goal.
- Actively demonstrates and cascades the enterprise-wide mindsets: integrity, collaboration and stewardship.
- 3-5 years of experience working with medical terminology, social service programs of non-profit health organizations preferred.

Our salary ranges vary depending upon the cost of labor in the relevant job market. This grade 6 position has a minimum rate of $11.69 in our Ponce market.
