Family Services Director: Help build lives and community by working with low-income families to achieve their dream of homeownership. Chatham Habitat for Humanity is located in Pittsboro, North Carolina and serves Chatham County. We build and sell homes with affordable mortgages to low-income families.
The Family Services Director is responsible for identifying and supporting families through our rigorous application and selection process, overseeing a series of Homebuyer Education Classes that the families must complete, working with families through the closing process, and supporting families through the life of their mortgages.The Family Services Director is a key member of our senior management staff, supervises the Family Services Department, and the Family Selection and Mortgage Management Committees.
- MUST be bilingual Spanish/English, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work with minimal supervision, be able to supervise part-time staff, have knowledge of the not-for-profit world, and must be sensitive to issues facing low-income families and have excellent customer service skills.
This is a full-time position (M-F) with some evening and weekend work required. Salary is $27-$32K with benefits.
