The Program Director is responsible for program development and compliance with county, state, federal regulations, in addition to any grant requirements in the provision of psychiatric rehabilitation and/or case management services to individuals recovering from mental illness. This person reports to the President/CEO.
- Develop and innovate program for success
- Adhere to CARF standards. Revise and develop policies and procedures as needed
- Assure conformance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations
- Develop and monitor budget and billing for service
- Design and update documentation and rehabilitation modalities
- Act as liaison between internal and external service components
- Oversee daily operations of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program.
- Provide supervision to Directors or Coordinators of related programs to include Residential Rehabilitation Program, Supported Employment Program and Health Home Program
- Maintain compliance with Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
- Motivate staff into providing highest quality of services
- Staff hiring, training, development and supervision
- Responsible for quality assurance reviews of client charts and incident reports and any other necessary documentation for managed care and accreditation standards (CARF)
- Participate as a member of Prologue Management Team
- Provide appropriate consultation to staff and Management Team
- Design plans for and engage in crisis intervention
- Utilize Electronic health Record for final approvals, review of documentation and billing
- Complete monthly authorization to the Administrative Service Organization
- Utilize computer systems to: disseminate information to stakeholders (internal & external)
- Review and final verify Time and Attendance for staff in the Payroll system
- Generate monthly program outcomes report and submit to President/CEO
- Manage Quarterly Performance Measurement, Management and Improvement
- Availability on-call to meet program regulations
At least five (5) years experience in mental health/psychiatric rehabilitation/special populations is required. Mental Health professional with LCSW-C preferred. Supervisory experience is essential. Proven leadership skills and the ability to work as a part of a team are necessary. A good driving record is also essential. Ability to respect individual choice in the recovery process and a commitment to recovery through the psychiatric rehabilitation process is required. Also, this position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage people and foster teamwork.
