We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Project Manager to lead the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of a Salesforce implementation at Make-A-Wish America.
As the Technical Project Manager of Salesforce you will be responsible for managing the overall Salesforce team and the Salesforce implementation. In addition to the necessary technology expertise, competency of leading and managing teams, communicating with the business teams and a hands-on mentality will be essential. Along with a well rounded knowledge of the Salesforce technology, ability to build relationships with a diverse set of business partners and team members is paramount.
The position requires the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments to support the National Office and 62 chapters across the United States.
- Lead and Manage the team in development, design, and administration of organization’s Salesforce environment.
- Support the project life cycle – strategy, design, creation, testing and deployment of the Salesforce platform for the organization.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, and communicate with team and business resources across the organization.
- Lead discovery workshops, which include the facilitation of large audiences, solution presentations, and prototype demonstrations.
- Support and assist with implementation /integration with other applications
- Build and demonstrate prototypes in Salesforce.
- Build out a support organization to ensure ongoing support and enhancement of Salesforce environment.
- Participate in product road mapping
- Completed multiple full-lifecycle, enterprise Salesforce implementations (preferably salesforce.org) and having played a key role in project ownership and people leadership.
- Progressive experience in technology implementation in an enterprise environment
- Detailed knowledge of Salesforce environments including identifying business requirements, collection of use cases/user stories, process design (work flow mapping, etc.), testing, training and implementation support.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience performing as an Agile Coach / Scrum Master a strong plus.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and develop strategies to respond to customer needs.
- System development lifecycle experience with both custom development and package integration.
- Experience with Business Process Modeling practices and techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and facilitate appropriate solutions
- Experience with the introduction of new technologies and standards in an unstructured environment.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in Information Technology.
- Salesforce Certifications
- Authorized to work for any U.S. employer (No Visa sponsorship at this time)
