Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Director of Donor Relations manages a highly effective Donor Relations team and serves as a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The Director of Donor Relations develops, implements, manages and assesses a comprehensive donor relations plan to support the strategic growth of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The scope of work includes donor relations, stewardship, special events, recognition and related communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Seven (7) years of cumulative development experience, preferably in the areas of Donor Relations, Stewardship, and Communications.
- Proficient in the strategic use of data and analytics to guide planning and implementation.
- Demonstrated success in a healthcare environment - clinical or academic medicine.

Phoenix Children’s strategic growth initiatives include growing its network in the greater Phoenix area, particularly in the Northwest (new hospital and specialty medical office building) and Southwest (new freestanding emergency room).
Phoenix Children’s Care Network includes more than 1,100 pediatric primary care providers and specialists who deliver care across more than 75 subspecialties. Network providers manage the healthcare for nearly 165,0000 pediatric lives under value-based contracting agreements.
