Generate revenue by developing, cultivating and managing national corporate alliances which provide funding, mission critical in-kind resources, employee activation, wish-related elements, and promotional opportunities for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Provide marketing coordination and sponsorship assistance to the Corporate Alliances department, Make-A-Wish chapters and national corporate sponsors.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Responsible for generating significant corporate revenue and affiliated strategies for retention.
  • Develops and enhances corporate sponsorship's through relationship building, strong interpersonal communication, collaboration and negotiation skills. Creates customized business plans for assigned portfolio of national corporate        accounts.
  • Analyzes current programs according to performance, revenue and in-kind resources generated, and benefit to the sponsor, to determine return on investment and growth potential. 
  • Evaluates programs from corporate sponsors for adherence to Foundation guidelines, BBB standards and state mandated Commercial Co-Venture regulations.
  • Review sponsor collateral and marketing materials and provide feedback to ensure information reflects the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s brand guidelines.
  • Oversees local chapter implementation of national fundraising campaigns and in-kind programs by facilitating communication with national corporate partners and chapters, developing program guides and providing marketing and media support materials. 
  • Interface, communicate and collaborate with chapters, creating marketing templates, chapter support materials, gathering chapter assets (stories, photos, media clips, report forms, etc.) to be shared with sponsors through program reports and internal communication channels.
  • Assists with various departmental special projects and serves in a primary support function for the Corporate Alliances team.
  • Prepares presentation materials, reports, proposals, etc. to support national corporate sponsorship programs.
  • Processes sponsor gifts (revenue), acknowledgements and program distributions on behalf of the Corporate Alliances team; ensure proper procedures are being followed in order to adhere to audit/compliance guidelines.
  • Oversee cultivation mailings and sponsor outreach efforts on behalf of the Corporate Alliances team.
  • Performs other job related duties, as assigned.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Work in an office environment in Phoenix, AZ.
  • Travel required.
  • May require work outside a traditional Monday – Friday work week, and outside normal business hours.
