The Chapter Enterprise Partner is a key contributor to the mission by providing leadership and consultation to advance and deepen relationships and understanding across chapters and the National Office through effective guidance and influence in the adoption and application of leading best practices. In this role the incumbent will collaborate in the development of organizational strategies and lead in the Chapters adoption and execution of best practices and strategies to enhance the overall performance and growth of chapters.  The Chapter Enterprise Partner consults with chapters in all areas of organizational program development, executes chapter advancement strategies and performance development across assigned chapters including; conducting chapter assessments and designs chapter plans. Interfaces with chapters to provide on-site consultation to ensure effective execution of Chapter-facing programs, best practices, platforms and strategies. The incumbent will be required to work effectively across all MAWA Departments, Chapter CEOs and Chapter Boards.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Provides leadership support to an assigned caseload of chapters by serving as an internal consultant in all areas of governance and management.
  • Executes components of the MAWA strategic plan by leading and coaching chapter CEOs and Senior staff.
  • Identifies trends and best practices and provides coaching and training around those practices.
  • Provides on-site customized consultation to chapters by developing short and long-term strategies, goals, and objectives for improved service and operations and adoption of best practices.
  • Proactively consults, coaches, to increase chapter performance moving chapters from “good to great”.
  • Acts as a liaison between the National Office, departments, and Chapters.
  • Assists in the search for Chapter CEOs and/or other staff additions; facilitates on-boarding.
  • Performs other job-related duties, as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Business, or related field required.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Demonstrated active hands-on experience in fund-raising, program delivery, volunteer recruitment, training of Boards and staff, and community development.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills to enhance rapport working with Chapter CEOs, staff and boards.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to lead, influence and negotiate.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in non-profit organization/environment required.
  • Prior experience in chapter leadership preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, including demonstrated expertise in Word and Excel.
