The Administrative Coordinator is a key contributor to the mission by supporting the Entertainment & Sports Relations department in areas of celebrity engagement, celebrity wishes and chapter support.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Provides customer service to chapters and international affiliates as a first point of contact for the team on all Entertainment & Sports relations requests including wishes, publicity requests, social media and celebrity engagement.
  • Maintains information in Salesforce database and runs reports on both wishes and celebrity engagement CRM.
  • Assists with the coordination of social media posts, publicity requests, and other public mentions of celebrities, obtaining prior approval as needed.
  • Assists in providing wish stories and pictures for various communication vehicles to enhance and/or increase the visibility of the organization or to steward celebrity relationships while acquiring the appropriate releases and approvals.
  • Supports the fulfillment of wishes that involve various celebrities on an as-needed basis to assist Entertainment Relations Managers
  • Performs other related job duties, as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations or related field desired.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Possess strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Engage effectively with professionals at all levels, both internally and external to the organization.
  • Organize work, prioritize, and delegate to meet deadlines, and make timely decisions with sound judgment.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in the sports or celebrity industry and/or with a non-profit organization.
  • Strong computer skills required, specifically in Microsoft Office applicationsPrior experience with Salesforce desired.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in an office environment.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • May require work outside a traditional Monday – Friday work week, and outside normal business hours.
