To lead and manage the implementation of the activities within the Family Are Strong Together (FAST) on Developing a Management Information System (MIS) and Child Vulnerability Index (CVI), working with a team of specialists, government and civil society organisations and ensuring compliance to sub-grant agreements and donor requirements.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead and manage the project planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation aligned with sub-grant agreement and donor requirements
- Manage the relationship and coordination with Government, Unicef, civil society organizations and other stakeholders involved in the development of the MIS and CVI
- Conduct project monitoring visits to project target areas as well as to support and encourage staff, and provide advice and guidance for adaptive improvement of the project
- Review and approve project reports ensuring quality and compliance with donor requirements
- Develop and review project terms of reference and agreements with project partners and consultants
- Work closely with the Child Protection Technical Team and Advocacy to ensure alignment with key strategies and decisions at national level in the engagement with Partners in Family Are Strong Together Program (FAST)
- Demonstrated positive working relationship with different partners and stakeholders towards project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reflection and learning
- Lead and engage in dialogue with Government together with FAST organisations/partners, Unicef and other stakeholders on the development, finalisation and approval of the MIS blueprint and CVI
- Participated in other coordination meetings with FAST Technical Support Groups and donors as necessary
Educational Background:
Bachelor/Master’s Degree in related field (social work, psychologBachelor/Master’s Degree in related field (social work, psychology, law) or equivalent experience in project managementy, law) or equivalent experience in project management
Skills/Experience:
- Proven ability in the management of USG programs; ability to integrate teams of professionals around common goals; demonstrated accomplishment in working with Govt ministries, development partners and Child Safe Organizations
- Experience Monitoring, Evaluation and analysis of social issues especially child protection
- Computer literate; Microsoft Word and Excel.
