This position is primarily responsible for providing strategic direction in the development and implementation of policies and programmes that result in effective Christian Commitments and integrate faith into development in all WV programmes. This occurs internally, amongst WV staff, and externally through communities and churches.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Church Partnership and other faith based leadership for how we engage with Church for greater partnership - support existing structure to continue development work after WV leave AP areas.
  • Develop strategy for staff spiritual nurture across WVI-Cambodia and specific focus on spiritual growth of managers –
    • Building relationship to understand manager’s spiritual needs.
    • Building a spiritual mentorship program by linking pastors and missionaries with WV managers/leaders.
    • Lead & support plans for staff spiritual nurture program: Chapel, Staff Spiritual Retreat and Holistic Christian Witness.
  • Jointly develop, contextualize and implement project models, alongside relevant technical leaders for strategic integration of Christian Witness effort into the programming.
  • Engagement Support & Coordinate: engage with potential donors for F&D for an increment of resource, closely working with the Region including Public engagement on our Christian Identity.
  • Serve as primary accountable for specific F&D projects, including report and M&E.
Educational Background: 
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or relevant degree from Bible/Theological school
Skills/Experience: 
  • Master’s degree in related topics
  • Good understanding and knowledge in diversity of church context & Christian organizations
  • Planning skill & working knowledge of proposal writing
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and donors
  • Experience using MS Office tools
  • 4 yrs in staff spiritual leadership and development work
  • At least 2 years’ experience in sharing scripture and development activities
  • A mature Christian and active in church ministry and development work
  • Experience working with leaders and managing others
  • Experience in training or facilitating workshops
  • Ability to work with accuracy under time constraints and pressure
