Provide help desk support, technical assistance to the various users of the assigned finance system and assist in keeping FRSC’s Datawarehouse updates and initiatives. This includes identification, prioritization and resolution of end-user service requests. Interact with business customers to provide application support; incident tracking, documentation and training. Administer daily data loading in various systems of reporting supported by the OLAP group.
Ensure high-quality technical support is provided to customers.
This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Provide first point of contact and day-to-day technical support to end users, responding to level 1 support requests via email and escalate issues to the Data Admin Associates accordingly.
- Enter and monitor request data into the tracking system (ServiceNow) on issues including: user access service, diagnosing problems by evaluating multiple options, developing checklists and scripts for resolving routine problems,
- documenting problem status and resolution in tracking log.
- Conduct research/troubleshoot/”fact-finding” as needed to resolve customer issues.
Ensure completeness, reliability and timeliness of data within Data Warehouse.
This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Uploading of different sets of data into datawarehouse.
- Processing of OLAP cubes after data loading.
- Validating data from source file vs SQL Tables and OLAP Cubes.
- Analyzing invalid data from codes to values.
- Updating of fields and dimensions.
- Updating of PowerBI Templates and Dashboards.
- Communicating changes, corrections and updates to users.
Provide Technical Support to projects/initiatives led by FRSC OLAP/Data warehouse group.
This includes but not limited to the following:
- Assist in gathering facts, data, inventory, etc during project implementation.
- Manage SSRS Distribution list for different groups.
- Assist in documenting processes and requirements.
- Performs other related functions as may be necessary and delegated from time to time.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledgeable in SQL Server Administration, RDBMS and OLAP Cubes.
- Minimum 1 year in giving IT related support and coordination.
- Possess strong analytical and everyday problem-solving skills.
- Must have a good communication and interpersonal skills.
- English fluency.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Has experience in using ServiceNow or any helpdesk tool.
- Has experience in any data analytics tools and applications.
