- Day to day operation of Affiliate and Staff / complies with Habitat International Policy Manual.
- Implementing policies and procedures / recommends and provides policies and procedures as needed. Oversees expenditures and revenues to ensure expenditures are within budgetary parameters.
- Oversees all financial preparation / execution, to include annual operating budget, ensures monthly financial statements are completed and ready for Board review.
- All operations matters to include reporting to Board on a monthly basis.
- Strategic direction to staff and volunteers.
- Develops, maintains contacts, relationships and assists Development with financial support commitments.
- Oversee all, prepare appropriate written appraisals, and authorize annual raises for paid staff. Provides regular informal and formal feedback to staff and volunteers.
- Performs other incidental and related duties assigned by Board Chair.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Skills/Experience:
- Education or experience in:
- Public Administration
- Business Management
- Social Services
- Or related Discipline
Experience in:
- Business leadership to include non-profit, volunteer intensive organization.
- Managing financials, building / executing budgets.
- Leading a team with a wide variety of skills.
- Overseeing $3 Million and up annual operation budget
- All Staff serves as an Ambassador for Habitat in effecting good representation, and communication of Habitat’s mission to all segments of the varying community. Be mindful of the diverse cultural, ethnic, faith based backgrounds, as well as all government officials and offices.
