The primary purpose of this position is to load, secure and move donated items while ensuring customer satisfaction by providing outstanding customer service and ensuring donations are handled in a professional and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and professional donation experience
- Help load donated items at the donor’s home or business in a safe and courtesy manner
- Ensure that all donations are properly loaded and secured to ensure they are not damaged in transit or in loading/ unloading
- Complete all donor forms and documentation accurately
- Maintain donor confidentiality; never sharing information about donors, their homes, addresses or other confidential information
- Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck
- Report any equipment issues or customer feedback to ReStore Management in a timely manner
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Attend all store meetings and training sessions as required
- Assist in any other daily store operations as assigned by the ReStore Management Team as needed

Work Environment
- This job operates in a retail environment. This role routinely uses loading and moving equipment. This position requires working in various weather conditions
Physical Demands
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical ability to move and lift large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise such as couches, appliances or bathtubs. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform the job duties
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time, hourly position. The hours are Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a rotating schedule with some hours outside of the regular workday as needed
Required Education and Experience:
- A High School diploma or GED. One or more years of retail, customer service or moving experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Creole preferred
