WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING A CPR IN SCHOOLS MANAGER. CPR EVENTS IN SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT THE GREATER SOUTHEAST AFFILIATE (GSA) PREFERRED LOCATION OF CANDIDATE IS ORLANDO, FL
In states that have passed "CPR as a graduation requirement" legislation, the CPR in Schools manager will directly work with schools, school districts, volunteer partners, community champions and AHA staff (Youth Market, ECC Account Managers, Community CPR Managers, Advocacy and Metro EDs) to identify, develop and sell AHA CPR training programs (CPR in Schools Training kit) in the school market; have a understanding of sales process & sales tools; determine best course of action for developing solutions & lead follow up; handle specific AHA/CPR in Schools training inquiries; communicate with division and/or affiliate partners about relevant opportunities; identify potential customers and work with those customers to meet training needs; work with division and Affiliate partners; act as point of contact for all CPR in School sales opportunities in assigned school market.
The CPR in Schools Manager will work with appropriate affiliate partners to develop and successfully implement state specific CPR in School State implementation and annual business plans. This position will be responsible for building, managing and sustaining CPR in Schools sales opportunities in assigned schools accounts; responsible for building, managing and sustaining relationships with key decision makers/influencers in schools; schools districts; responsible for selling entire ECC portfolio to opportunities in the school market. As such, this position will hold a annual revenue goal of $250,000. When appropriate, work with Affiliate Mission Advancement staff to assist in identifing potential funders for CPR in Schools programs; provide frequent market feedback on programs and contribute to sharing successes and best practices with direct supervisor, Affiliate staff, National Consultant; undertake duties as designated by supervisor, National ECC Consultant and SVPs of Health Strategies.
In addition to the CPR in Schools duties and responsibilities, the CPR in Schools Manager will partner with volunteers, community champions, priority customers and affiliate workstreams to develop and implement CPR Anytime (Adult and Infant) programs. Key position objectives include the achievement of goals for number of people trained, number of CPR Anytime trainng kits placed (CPR Anytime, Infant CPR Anytime), restricted money secured, retail sales and the effective managament and engagment of volunteers. This position also includes development of school, hospital and community CPR training programs.
- In collaboration with affiliate/ECC staff, volunteer partners and community champions, effectively manage and execute annual business plan that will maximize the implementation of CPR programs programs in assigned territory.
- Determine best course of action for developing solutions & lead follow up; handle specific AHA/CPR in Schools/CPR Anytime training inquiries; communicate with division and/or affiliate partners about relevant opportunities.
- Identify potential customers and work with those customers to meet training needs
- Responsible for building, managing and sustaining CPR in Schools and CPR Anytime sales opportunities (both internal and external;retail) in assigned accounts.
- Responsible for building, managing and sustaining key decision makers/influencers in schools; schools districts, hospitals
- Some heavy lifting involved up to 50 lbs. CPR programs are usually indoors. To set up, some programs may require lifting large quantities of boxes or a multi pack kit that weighs 33 lbs. To demonstrate CPR, the person will be required to kneel on the floor for an extended amount of time and use upper body strength to demonstrate chest compressions.
