The Data Capture Associate is responsible for data entry for donations, event and mission programs for the enterprise. The Data Capture Associate will be responsible for entering data utilizing multiple systems. They are responsible for ensuring data is entered timely and accurately in all systems.     
• Perform data entry tasks in all applications including, but not limited to, event donations, event forms, direct mail, pledge contributions, event setup & maintenance, patient forms, OLER (Off-Line Estimated Revenue), and Constituent Relationship Management donation &/or Event entry.
• Set up new events, roll over existing events and update events in Convio, Siebel, Event Management Tool, and Cancer Resource Connection.
• Perform correction tasks on data previously entered in all applications.
• Perform data correction tasks for entries that failed automated business rules application in both the Invalids and Staging Error Queues for all applications.
• Perform batch & record reversal and correction tasks.
• Correct errors in FileNet.
• Maintain basic knowledge of applications relating to donations and document processing including Captiva, Fairfax, FileNet, Siebel, Lawson, Convio, Event Management Tool and Cancer Resource Connection.
• Maintain general business process knowledge of all products and services provided by the department.
• Maintain general knowledge of business purposes the department supports with its products and services.

Position Requirements

The candidates should have a high school diploma or GED. Prior work experience of two years, in the areas of data capture & computer operation, remittance and/or lockbox processing, or other financial transactional processing, is also preferred.
Preference given to candidates who: 1) Possess specialized training or knowledge of Captiva  and Fairfax Imaging Software, Lawson, Siebel, and File Net software 2) Working knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
The candidate should possess the following skills:  1) Acceptable organizational and interpersonal skills 2) Initiative, professionalism and ability to work under pressure 3) Ability to maintain quality service in a busy office environment 4) Exercise tact, discretion, common sense and dependability 5) Willingness and ability to be flexible.      
Must maintain an accuracy ratio of at least 99.6% and associated speed requirements for the applicable data entry process.
1) Multitasked and detailed oriented, able to handle high, as well as highly fluctuating, workflows to meet time sensitive deadlines & to work flexible work hours. 2) Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. 3) Must be able to look at a computer monitor for long periods of time and alternate between computer monitor and reference materials.
