The Senior Data Capture Associate II is responsible for the data capture of more complex patient information and other mission and event data. They are responsible for ensuring data is entered timely and accurately in all systems. They are responsible for processing all service requests and documenting services performed ensuring all data is processed with the highest quality & delivery standards. This position handles other senior level data capture processes within the department as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks into the Constituent Relationship Management application or data capture software for all patient information and other mission and event level information.
- Ensure all patient service delivery requests are processed timely and accurately to allow for the Patient Service Center to process the service request.
- Perform data entry for services and activities performed by local offices or health care facilities ensuring all are accurately recorded.
- Process the more complicated forms which require additional knowledge of the health care facilities and services performed as well as the proper recording of these activities in the Constituent Relationship Management system.
- Adhere to data entry standards, postal standards and all database requirements.
- Run Siebel queries and reports.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of community programs, services, information and other resources available to the American Cancer Society and its customers.
- Assist with staff training as needed.
- Perform correction tasks on data previously entered in all applications as needed.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of applications relating to document processing.
- Maintain strong business process knowledge of all products and services provided by the department.
- Support Data Capture by managing the Customer Service/Data Capture inbox and working inbound and outbound exceptions as needed.
- Adhere to all American Cancer Society privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Assist other data capture areas with focus on senior data capture processes.
The candidate should have a minimum of four years equivalent work experience, preferably in the areas of data capture & computer operation, or other transactional processing operations.
- The candidate should possess specialized training or knowledge of Data Capture Software, CRM system, and File Net software
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft applications
- Exposure to medical terminology, social services programs or non-profit health organizations preferred.)

- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to look at a computer monitor for long periods of time and alternate between computer monitor and reference materials.
