This is a temporary assignment with our Greater Bay Area Division in support of our growing COMMUNITY AND CORPORATE IMPACT TEAM . This interim opportunity is full-time up through June 2018 and offers a great learning experience for candidates interested in fundraising and event management.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide detailed administrative, data management, event logistics, marketing and volunteer engagement support for CYCLENATION.RIDE and CORPORATE INITIATIVES. This includes managing data and email campaigns (systems include Luminate, Dynamics, Informs).
  • Recruit and train interns and outreach volunteers to represent the campaign at cycling events, bring promotional materials to cycling businesses, create visibility on online calendars and track interest. Oversee event day volunteer recruitment and staffing.
  • Engage in participant recruitment, cultivation and follow-up.
  • Secure in-kind donations for assigned events.
  • Create video content, presentations and ROI templates.
  • Support Communications and Marketing, especially Social Media, outreach including Sprinklr posts and ROI analytics and reports. Maintains calendar of media public service announcements and cultivation events.
  • Track and report on traditional and social media engagement for identified sponsors.
  • Assist with Corporate Initiatives program deliverables including creating email templates and newsletters, program collateral, event coordination and day-of-event support.
  • Process invoices and effectively maintain assigned budgets.
Educational Background:

Required Experience

Qualifications include a knack for details, a strong team and customer-service orientation, a “can-do” approach with the ability to complete projects on time and highly effective verbal and written communication skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with In-design, iMovie, Final Cut Pro preferred.
