Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity serving Onslow and Carteret Counties is seeking a Director of Operations. The Director of Operations is responsible for staff functions as they relate to the overall fiscal success of the affiliate, including fundraising, family services, construction, ReStore operations, and public relations. The Director of Operations will work with all program departments, under the direction of the Executive Director, and within the policy, guidelines and budget established by the Board of Directors, to maximize their effectiveness, while providing key leadership to enable Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity to achieve its mission.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Nonprofit Management
Skills/Experience:
- 5 years of management experience, special consideration for work experience with Habitat for Humanity
- Strong relationship building and communication (oral/written) skills
- Understanding of technology and social media, and ability to leverage it to improve operations
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and with staff and volunteers
- Provide strong leadership skills with the ability to develop staff and volunteers through example and training programs.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary range: $40,000-$48,000
