Areas of Responsibility: 

RQI Partners has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resource Coordinator located in Wappingers Falls, NY! This individual will provide support in all Human Resources areas but with particular specialization in recruitment and onboarding, and health and welfare plan administration.

  • Manage and coordinate pre-employment tasks, onboarding communications, payroll, HRIS set up, training plans and facilitation of HR-related topics
  • Benefit program administration, including open enrollment for Health and Welfare benefit programs

Recruitment/Onboarding:

  • Support recruitment activities including posting open positions, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting first-level screenings of candidates and coordinating interview process with managers
  • Prepare offer packages for selected candidates
  • Coordinate post-offer tasks such as background screening process, payroll paperwork, and coordinating new hire orientation
  • Track applicant pool for affirmative action program

Payroll:

  • Act as payroll liaison for changes that affect payroll administration
  • Coordinate with payroll vendor to ensure accurate employee data in payroll system
  • Assist Team Members and managers with timesheets and leave time reconciliation

Benefits

  • Administer RQIP Health and Welfare benefit programs including employee enrollment and mid-year election changes
  • Reconcile monthly invoices from benefit carriers
  • Coordinate with HR Manager and broker on employee communication, education and open enrollment
  • Process bi-weekly HSA funding
  • Manage payroll changes for 401k plan (contributions, loans)

Other:

  • Field Team Member relations and general questions as needed
  • Process employee separation paperwork and conduct exit interviews
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an HR role
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task while handling highly confidential materials
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathetic approach and ability to embrace positivity and teamwork
  • Initiative to follow up on pending issues
  • Strong computer skills with high degree of comfort using MS Office Suite
