Planned Parenthood of New York City is seeking an Associate Vice President, Patient Experience to join our Clinical Services team. The AVP, Patient Experience is based at our Administrative Offices located at 26 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10012.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • The Associate Vice President, Patient Experience is a key role on the Clinical Services Senior Management team focused on patient-centered, effective and efficient high quality systems of service delivery.   
  • In collaboration with the Vice President, Clinical Services, champions the Clinical Services patient and employee experience including collection and analysis of data from patient feedback via Press Ganey surveys and patient feedback forms.
  • Develops recommendations for patient and employee experience improvement measures for Clinical Services. 
  • Works collaboratively with the Innovations and Analytics Center team on new technology and data driven activities that impact the health centers.
  • Participates in agency-wide Senior Management team and represents Clinical Services in internal and external meetings and committees as required. 
  • Oversees medical purchasing and ensures the availability of appropriate levels of medical supplies and equipment.  
  • Supervises the Call Center Director, Clinical Trainer, and Associate Director of Clinical Administration. 
  • Assumes responsibility for Center Director role when Center Director vacancies occur or Center Director is on leave or vacation. 
Educational Background: 
Masters degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Requires an ability equal to that usually derived from satisfactory completion of courses required for graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in a health related field
  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of related and/or applicable experience, two (2) or more of which must be in a director capacity in an ambulatory care program.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
