Project planning and Implementation

• Facilitate community engagement in planning and developing detailed annual implementation plans for the sector aligned to the Technical Programme
• Facilitate efficient and timely implementation of planned activities.

Project monitoring and reporting

• Regular data collection under the sector for reporting and evaluation.
• Developing and submitting reports as required
• Conduct community monitoring visits and review meetings
• Documenting lessons learnt, promising practices and change stories
• Report RC participation in sector related activities
• Produce and share evidence of project impact on children including RC
• Conduct home visits for RC households
• Build the capacity of community groups in monitoring

Community engagement and capacity building

• Identify technical and organizational capacity gaps among community groups, volunteers and stakeholders
• Organize and implement capacity building initiatives at community level
• Provide mentorship and coaching of trained groups (volunteers, committees and stakeholders)
• Mobilize and engage communities in sector specific issues using participatory methodologies (e.g. campaigns)
• Build the capacity of the community in disaster risk management

Networking & Advocacy

• Facilitate linkages between community groups and relevant technical sector platforms
• Identify sector related issues for advocacy
• Build the capacity of community groups in advocacy using Citizen Voice and Advocacy (CVA)
• Represent the program in relevant forums at local level
• Facilitate interface meetings between service providers and community groups
• Build partnerships with the church and FBOs within sector related activities
