Under the Leadership of the People & Culture (P&C) HR Advisor/Manager – Solution Centre, this position will focus on performing complex analytics using advanced statistical tools of analysis and technical P&C knowledge within the framework of the P&C Solutions Centre (PCSC) service offerings of Strategic Research, Process Engineering/improvement and Analytics using general Project Management approach to work.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead global/partnership people projects with wide-reaching impacts for quality people management partnership wide.
- Perform complex P&C and cross-functional data analytics using advanced statistical analysis and functional P&C knowledge for Global P&C and develop solutions models/options and drive the change with key stakeholders towards more streamlined and cost effective approaches to P&C strategies.
- Packages and delivers analytics insight to stakeholders through written (deck compilation, summary writing) and oral communications (factual and persuasive).
- Using the experience of past successes, persuade the PCSC and P&C Leadership on ways to improve the use of data to drive P&C operational effectiveness across the Global P&C.
- Research into identified current strategic P&C issues using both internal/external and P&C/non-P&C data mines producing and presenting reports and recommendations to P&C Leadership on behalf of the Solutions Centre.
- Work with the PCSC Team and/or contribute to projects within the PCSC service offerings to ensure effective and efficient Global P&C Operations.
- Attend and participate in weekly chapel services and regular devotional meetings.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics + HR or related field.
Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years in HR Analytics related work.
- Intellectual curiosity and dedication to mastering complex terrain.
- Ability to diagnose prospect/stakeholder needs and identify relevant resources.
- Proficient in using advanced statistical methodologies and statistical tool (e.g., SPSS, SPSS Modeler, Tableau etc.) in analyzing data to produce management information/analytics.
- Proficient and demonstrated understanding of P&C and P&C business systems & processes and a solid understanding of the dynamics of how P&C functions within a global context.
- Demonstrated ability of the use of HR information systems, data mining, preparation, analysis and presentation.
- Technologically proficient in using project management and process/workflow design modules/concepts and software e.g., MS Visio, MS Project etc.
- Fast learner with proven adaptability in being able to successfully perform within various contexts in Global P&C.
- Ability to stretch beyond one’s comfort zone in the desire to raise one’s professional caliber.
- Strong presentation skills, written and oral.
- Receive instruction and demonstrate good understanding of that instruction when being assigned to temporary roles which are unfamiliar or skills which are not fully developed.
- Ability to offer input on issues and challenge the status quo/conventional wisdom.
- Human Capital and Data analytics certification.
- Project Management Certification.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Masters in Data Analytics or related field.
Work Environment/Travel:
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time.
- Good business understanding of World Vision’s current business environment in general and P&C in particular.
- Ability to work well virtually, across multiple streams and multiple regions / geographies.
