The Wellbeing Center Manager provides leadership for day to day operations of the Wellbeing Center.  The incumbent provides positive and consistent leadership to staff, members, and guests. The incumbent assists in meeting established revenue and participation goals. The incumbent hires, supervises and trains staff.  

Areas of Responsibility: 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (Health & Wellness, Nutrition, Management)
  • Certified Health Coach verified through a reputable certifying entity (e.g., University of Minnesota Center for Spirituality & Healing, National Society of Health Coaches - NSHC, American Council on Exercise - ACE)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience working in the health and wellness, salon, spa, hospitality or retail industry to include managing budgets to achieve established goals and objectives
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage staff and budgets to achieve established goals and objectives with particular focus on revenue
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge in health and wellbeing center trends
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated maturity, good judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • CPR/PR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen certifications (within 30 days of hire)
  • Ability to manage and deliver programs/services to a diverse population

Preferred

  • Master’s degree (Health & Wellness, Integrative Health Studies, Nutrition)
  • Possess a current license/certification in related area(s) of expertise (e.g., Nutrition, Wellness Course Instructor)
Skills/Experience: 
  • Manages the day to day operations of the Wellbeing Center ensuring services and programs provided meet the needs of the guests, members and community.
  • Develops a high performing professional team who delivers quality programs and services meeting branch, member and guest needs.
  • Assures the safety, function, and cleanliness of the center and equipment.
  • Evaluates program results and service feedback, identifies areas for improvement or development and implements plans to achieve desired goals and objectives.
  • Recruits, hires, on boards, trains, develops and supervises staff.
  • Ensures a high level of customer service which enhances the member and guest experience and satisfaction.
  • Assists in the development of the center budget and manages the day to day operations to assure revenue and service goals and expense targets are achieved.
  • Delivers lifestyle coaching services directly to members and guests a portion of the time.
  • Develops wellbeing education curriculum within relevant areas of expertise and delivers several educational programs directly to clients.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
