Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley’s (HEBSV) mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Under the direction of the Director, Individual and Leadership Gifts the Faith and Community Partnerships Manager (FCPM) shall manage the faith programs, including supervision of personnel. The FCPM is responsible for strategy and management to raise funds and increase faith community engagement. Additionally, the FCPM shall manage HEBSV’s international giving and volunteerism through the tithe and global village programs. In all activities, the FCPM seeks to further the mission of HEBSV by advancing opportunities for donor relationships.
Faith Engagement
- Directly manage the Faith Programs contractor to strategically strengthen HEBSV faith programs to raise funds, mobilize volunteers, cultivate donors, and build lasting partnerships.
- Create and implement annual budget, strategy, and metrics to raise a minimum of $245,000 annually from faith organizations and individuals connected to Habitat through faith organizations.
- Maintain Raisers Edge records for faith communities. Plan and lead moves management for 50+ faith partnerships, maximizing prospect development and strategic touch points with high-impact congregations.
- Ensure outreach at key congregations and consistent communication with all partners through Interfaith Council, Community Faith Alliances, Faith Partners, and individual connections, presentations, and communication.
- Oversee planning and coordination of interfaith build days and special events to engage volunteers and raise funds.
Community Engagement
- Serve as initial liaison for community groups, such as Rotary, Kiwanis, etc. Respond to inquiries and participate in awareness building activity as appropriate.
International Programs
- Work with senior management, the Tithe Committee, and board members to create and implement tithe and global village policy for HEBSV’s international giving and volunteerism.
- Manage communications, planning, reporting, and meetings necessary for the designation of HEBSV’s annual tithe to international affiliates.
- Support Global Village trip leaders and participants with information, training, policies, and fundraising tools.
- Manage communications with tithe partner affiliates to maximize HEBSV engagement in partnership.
Department General Activities
- Support the DCOG in developing annual strategic planning objectives and annual budget for income and expenses.
- Produce reports on faith and individual giving programs for the DCOG, SVPDC, SMT and Board.
- Work in a team environment on department activities and initiatives with a positive attitude.
- Assist with outreach and speaking engagements on behalf of HEBSV.
- Support organizational special events (some weekday evenings and weekends required).
- Submit all reports in a timely manner. Respond to calls and correspondence within 24 hours.
- Manage relationships proactively and with professionalism.
- Manage and protect organization’s resources.
- Maintain an effective filing and records management system.

Time Commitment:
- Full-time, flexible hours. Some weekday evenings and weekends required. Some travel required.
Evaluations:
- Written evaluations will be provided at six and 12 months after start date of employment. Subsequent written evaluations will be given annually during the first quarter of the fiscal year.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, particularly the ability to translate complex issues into clear, simple ideas to tell a story; strong command of the English language.
- Excellent verbal communications skills with the ability to make dynamic group presentations.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to anticipate tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines and function smoothly under strict deadlines and shifting priorities.
- High-level computer literacy skills. Raisers Edge proficiency preferred.
