The Grants Manager will ensure that all administrative, compliance, reporting and financial aspects of grants and contracts management are performed efficiently and to the highest quality, from the planning and application phase through contracting, reporting, and close-out. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a team player, highly detail-oriented, and able to handle varying assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all compliance related to current organizational grants and oversee all grant related tracking, reporting and record-keeping systems, fulfilling all requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
- Oversee data management of grant accounts in Salesforce database and provide reports to Director of Programs and leadership when applicable.
- Identify grantors currently not giving to Memphis Habitat; prepare briefing materials and track in Salesforce database.
- Participate in researching potential funders and preparing proposals in conjunction with the Director of Programs.
- Coordinate the creation of documents required by grantors in compliance with their interests and guidelines.
- Coordinate the development of base proposals, budgets and financial information required by funders in support of the Director of Programs.
- Create grants process with senior staff to determine annual program funding priorities, prospects, base proposals and program staff follow up.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus
Skills/Experience:
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of fundraising experience, with a proven track record of managing grant compliance.
- Strong Excel and database experience required. Salesforce a plus.
- Excellent writing, grant preparation and grant reporting skills.
