Job Description
Job Title: President

Reports to: Chair, Board of Directors

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Day to day operation of Affiliate and Staff/complies with Habitat International Policy Manual.
  • Implementing policies and procedures/recommends and provides policies and procedures as needed.
  • Oversees expenditures and revenues to ensure expenditures are within budgetary parameters.
  • Oversees all financial preparation/execution, to include annual operating budget, ensures monthly.
  • financial statements are completed and ready for Board review.
  • All operations matters to include reporting to Board on a monthly basis.
  • Strategic direction to staff and volunteers.
  • Develops, maintains contacts, relationships and assists Development with financial support
  • commitments.
  • Oversee all, prepare appropriate written appraisals, and authorize annual raises for paid staff. Provides.
  • regular informal and formal feedback to staff and volunteers.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties assigned by Board Chair.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Education or experience in:
    • Public Administration
    • Business Management
    • Social Services
    • Or related Discipline
  • Experience in:
    • Business leadership to include non‐profit, volunteer intensive organization.
    • Managing financials, building / executing budgets.
    • Leading a team with a wide variety of skills.
    • Overseeing $3 Million and up annual operation budget
