Reporting to the Associate Director Corporate Engagement, this position leads the Corporate fundraising plans for Corporations which have roots in Asia and the Pacific. The primary focus of this position is on new business development from Asian Corporations through the active and collaborative engagement of the National Offices in Asia and the Pacific. This position also will faciliate the partnerships of Asian Corporations beyond the shores of Asia and the Pacific in collaboration with Area Offices in EMEA, LAC and even engaging HQrs. Addionally this position will also help the Associate Director raise funds for HYLB and HYLA related initiatives.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Work under the direction of Associate Director Corporate Engagement and under the guidance of the RD Director to facilitate new business development from Asia and the Pacific Corporations.
- Help lead the strategy development and revenue generation from corporations which has AP footprints in collaboration and advise from the National Offices where such a partnership opportunity originate.
- Build a culture of AP corporate fundraising with the constant engagement of NOs through capacity building and using a moves management approach.
- Lead the regional revenue needs to support events such as APHF, HYLB/HYLA
- Work in collaboration with other team members to find revenue sources to sustain brand building programs like Asian Tour, WFSA, Asia Women Build and other emerging strategic initiatives
- Support the GFN countries, EMEA and HQrs fundraising team with the engagement of team members in this channel to effective donor management of Asian MNCs if such a case originates
- Build a collaborative work environment within AP RD and other departments as well as the NOs towards meeting the set targets of fundraising in the region.
- Ensure effective donor relations management engaging the GCDR team.
- Ensure the data management through the CRMs available in each NOs and also through an integrated CRM within AP.
- Represent the organisation at assigned events
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Educational Background:
BA/BS required, MBA and exposure to Fundraising in Asian geographies.
Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of front-line experience in fundraising from corporations, high net-worth individuals in large, nation-wide setting or regional setting as part of a nationally/regionally deployed team or front-line sales in a corporate setting with a passion for social development projects and marketing.
- Demonstrated track record or successful fundraising in an environment of similar complexity. Experience in a multi-national federated organization with the ability to thrive.
- Demonstrated leadership skills - Innovative, creative, collaborative, and strategic & analytical thinker.
- Excellent customer service mindset - Superior negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong development-related technology skills (internet, social media etc.)
- An individual of unquestionable integrity whose professional and personal conduct reflects HFH's Christian principles and values.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Preferred: Beneficial but not required: Working knowledge of CRMs
