Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Coordinator, Donor Care (Temp). Support the sustainability of partnerships and help build HFHI brand to enhance donor relationships and ensure that donors experience high-quality interactions with the organization that foster long-term engagement and investment. This is a temporary position and will be based in HFHI's administrative headquarters in Manila, Philippines. This position will run through December, 2018.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Support donor care manager and area manager in the development of donor proposals and reports.
  • Implementation of donor relation and donor development activities, meetings and events.
  • Assist in engaging celebrities in the AP region for effective brand building and fund generation. Research profiles of celebrities and help develop long term relationship to promote HFH Brand in the region.
  • Coordinate and liaise with AP Communications and Program support teams to build the best donor relationship and donor development culture across Asia Pacific.
  • Support in managing, coordinating and fundraising for special initiatives and events which can include but are not limited to Habitat Young Leaders Build, Women Build, APHF among others.
  • Maintain use of the Playbook with national organizations and branches. Support the timely submission of accurate pipeline reports and revenue forecasts. 
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least 3 years experience in donor relations.
  • At least 3 years experience in fundraising, sales or client management.
  • Experience in a multi-national organisation with the ability to thrive.
  • Demonstrate collaborative skills and ability to manage competing interests and priorities of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Innovative, creative, strategic and analytical thinker and expert researcher.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong persuasion, negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and cross cultural skills.
  • Computer literate and demonstrate ability to use MSWord, MSexcel, database, email, web browser and project software.
  • Demonstrate ability to use technology such as social media, internet to generate donor awareness.
  • The ability to ignite a passion and to create and communicate excitement about HFH's compelling mission.
  • A self starter with a high level of energy, self-confidence, and a positive "can-do" attitude are essential, as is humility.
  • An individual of unquestionable integrity whose professional and personal conduct reflects HFH's Christian principles and values.
  • Passion for and commitment to the HFH mission.
