PROGRAM: Adult Clinical Services
SITE LOCATION: Manchester, CT
OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
To oversee and and/or provide all management functions for assigned programs and services.
By being responsible for:
- Operations, and oversight for multiple programs, including risk management, supervision, staff competency, responsiveness to populations served, program development and program implementation.
- Administration and management activities related to effective program operations and system-wide activities as assigned.
- Collaboration and community networking related to programs assigned.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational and administrative oversight of multiple programs including monitoring performance, attending to crises, ensuring programs operate within budget expectation, ensuring compliance with contractual expectations, funder expectations, and licensing and accreditation requirements
- Provides clinical leadership and manages risk for programs overseen and for division.
- Oversees recruitment, selection, hiring and performance evaluation in collaboration with Human Resources Department.
- Collaboration with outside agencies including funders, auditors, partners etc.
- Effectively complies with accreditation and licensing requirements
- Oversees facility maintenance, vehicles, and other agency properties as appropriate
- Oversees quality improvement processes in assigned programs and participates actively in agency wide quality initiatives and monitoring processes
- Participates actively in agency strategic planning processes and program development initiatives.
- Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served
- Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
- Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
- Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s level with experience within areas of expertise offered within the division.
Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience, including experience with the population to be served within the service area and progressive management experience
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Within clinical areas, must hold a valid CT licensure or certification at the Master’s level
Training/Continued Competency: 10-15 hours continuing education in those areas outlined for improvement on the performance evaluation as outlined in the professional development plan. Must maintain an average rating of “fully meets expectations” on the annual performance evaluation.
