Executes locally in the Madison Market for corporate account management, primarily pursuing new corporate account opportunities, manages and cultivates relationships, region implementation of corporate initiatives and driving account engagement to achieve ACS mission priorities and income targets.  Collaborates with ACS Partners to increase market penetration, and engagement of CEOs and their corporations.  This position reports directly to the Executive Director.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Primary role is to seek out new opportunities for future ACS partnerships.
  • May also be a Relationship Manager for a portfolio of local Madison corporations, corporate foundations, CEOs, C-Suite executives and other high impact individuals with responsibility for prospect research, recruitment, cultivation, and retention.
  • Aligns corporations and CEO affinities and needs with ACS priorities and events to achieve individual income goals, support enterprise goals, and to further our impact to mission programs and services.
  • Identifies opportunity and facilitates the development of high impact alliances and partnerships for the Society and among our corporate and distinguished partners.
  • Leverages opportunities to engage corporate partners through event sponsorship and participation such as "Real Men Wear Pink".
  • Partners with enterprise support and region support services functions and ensures appropriate support is provided for successful execution of Corporate events such as "Real Men wear Pink".
  • Utilizes available tools and processes to maximize event results, including online fundraising.
  • Utilizes and responds to customer experience survey, comparative event and success factors data.
  • Utilizes defined processes to ensure timely and accurate event data entry.
  • Ensures compliance with ACS policies, including employment, risk management, event and cash handling, and financial controls.
  • Maintains productive and collaborative relationships with the Society’s global headquarters departments and other regions; participates on regional and enterprise projects and committees as appropriate.  
  • Models and fosters behavior that establishes a culture that values the staff/volunteer partnership, and is consistent with the values, goals, and objectives of the Society to create an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, empowerment, and dedication to the mission.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills/Experience: 
  • One year related experience preferred, working within a multi-million dollar organization a plus.
